No, not a Rom-Zom, a ‘Political Zomedy’ fabulous!

The latest film to be listed for the line up of the 2010 After Dark Horrorfest is of the Zombie persuasion. ‘Zombies of Mass Destruction’ has made the cut and according to the press release it chomps down on stereotypes and braiiinnss of course;
“The film is set in “ZMD,” a conservative island community that’s under attack. Port Gamble, Washington is being overrun with brain eaters, and the people seem powerless to stave them off. A rag tag band of rebels led by Frida (Janette Armand), an Iranian college student suspected of being an Iraqi terrorist, and Tom (Doug Fahl), a gay business man who has returned to town with his partner to come out to his mother, tries to turn the tide and push the invading hoards of undead back.”
This flick appears to have some great ghoulish effects, meandering undead, political incorrectness and a dysfunctional father son relationship based of a difference of being a ‘Zombie’ or a Vampire’ man.
