Everyone from Bloody Good Horror to Bloody Disgusting is featuring the new trailer for the upcoming release of Ju-on (The Grudge) for the Wii console. Many are speculating about the longevity of the game play, how the Wii controller may be utilised and how much it will scare the pants off those playing. However my comment’s are as follows:
1: That little blue kid still frightens me and I still expect to find him under my sink.
2: Who doesn’t love the bloody pitter patter of little feet.
3: How can it not be scary with that noise we fans of J-Horror all know and love so much, which is featured at the end of the trailer.

Cute, arse kicking vampire chicks!

I am peaking out about this films release. I haven’t read the comics/anime but I own the animated DVD… and now the live action film of Blood: The Last Vampire is on its way. What more could you ask for? Arse kicking cute vampire chicks, produced by the same people that did Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Hero. Action, vampires, swords, slow-mo, autumn leaves and cherry blossoms and cute outfits. I must stop before I start to glow with excitement (ladies don’t perspire)!

Creepy Poster for Thai film 'The Coffin'

Thanks to Horror-Asylum for the heads up about this film. The plot sounds freaky and is apparently based on an actual Thai ritual. The story is described as:
“A Thai architect and a Hong Kong dietitian decide to go through the ritual of lying in a coffin to get rid of bad luck, to prolong life, and to cheat death - only to be faced with a series of strange and terrifying incidents afterwards.”
The poster is very eerie and macabre. Looking forward to seeing this film!
