Greetings and Salutations.
Some titillating news for all you fangbangers in the land down under, the True Blood Convention is coming to our wide brown land! I spotted the news via the Vampire News blog, a good source for all things fanged.
The article by Gabrielle Faust details that the convention will be coming to both Sydney and Melbourne, on the 25th ad 26th of September respectively. Tickets range from $100 dollars for a day pass and $950 for a Platinum pass which gets you a breakfast and evening with the guests (so you may be able to rub up against Alexander Skarsgard for real not on your pillow), seats in the first two rows for panels etc, priority queuing for photo’ and autographs and a professional photo with the guests. Visit here for ticketing and more details.
With that fangtastic news I’m sure you are all reaching for your fans and smelling salts, so now to bring you back down to earth so you can achieve something with your day.
Speaking of rubbing on pillows; for those who have not seen it already here is the perfect present to get any pre-pubescent Twilight fan: a life sized Edward Cullen pillow… Now if they made Eric pillows that would be Ok wouldn’t it?

Greetings and Salutations.
As the holidays close in what better to stumble across than a simple and easy way for me to continue my love affair with my iPhone and horror comics simultaneously! IDW Comics have an iPhone application that allows you to purchase many fabulous titles from their catalog to read on your iPhone. One of which places itself as a continuation of this years hit horror flick Paranormal Activity.
Fearnet featured the iPhone app on its site recently and described it as picking up where the movie finished. We find Katie frothing at the mouth, which is fine by me as I found her highly irritating, I was also quite pleased about how things ended up for her tool of a boyfriend.
“Katie has gone missing. And Dr Johann Averys, an internationally renowned demonologist, is determined to find her! Paranormal Activity didn’t stop on the final frame of the movie- in act, the story is just beginning.”
You can purchase many titles including Paranormal Activity for ninety nine cents (US) or a dollar nineteen (AUS) and subscribe to whole comic series, other titles include Ghost Whisperer: The Haunted, Groom Lake and coming soon Wormwood!!! Hit up iTunes and have a looky!

Greetings and Salutations.
If anyone was wondering what to get yours truly for Christmas… in 2010 then here is the ultimate gift for any True Blood fan. Whilst flicking through my RSS feeds the wonderful crew at Vampire News lead me to this delightful item…

That’s right ladies the folks over at DC Direct are creating a line of True Blood busts for you to sit in your room say on your dresser, bedside table or on the pillow next to you, or is that just me? The series will come out in July 2010, so start saving your pennies as they are a reasonable $69.99 (USD).
Now if only some enterprising ‘Adult Company’ would create a blow up version my life would be complete…
