As featured a couple of days ago, pictures demonstrating director Tim Burton’s vision for Alice in Wonderland had hit the web. Fangoria has just released two more character pictures showing Alice (Mia Wasikowska) as well as Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee (Matt Lucas). The film features a combination of live-action, CGI, and motion capture and I can’t stand it that its not out until March 2010!

Tim Burton’s Wonderland, curiouser and curiouser!

Alice in Wonderland may be stretching the bounds of horror, however I am blissing out in anticipation of the release of Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland‘.
There has been released via a number of sites including Dread Central a set of character shots of the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp *sigh*), the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) and The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter * meep*), in order to tease the masses! The USA Today site features a series of artwork to explore, giving a panoramic view of Burton’s Wonderland.
This is not the first collaboration between Burton and Depp and if their past body of work is anything to go by we are in for a treat. For those of you lucky rabbits who live in New York be sure to get along to the Museum of Modern Art to see the Tim Burton Exhibition (opening November 2009), if not then off with your head! The rest of us will just have to play croquet until Alice in Wonderlands release in March 2010!

9, final poster for Shane Acker’s horror animated feature.

I know I have talked about ‘9′ in prior posts, however I am so besotted with this film and it isn’t even out yet!
The crew over at Bloody Good Horror posted the final poster for the upcoming animated horror feature ‘9′ directed by Shane Acker. This film has me quivering with anticipation, the animation is creative and creepy, the story is original and the soundtrack so far is epic.
The ladies and gents over at Dread Central have access to some of the original conceptual drawings for some of the creatures, the seamstress is currently on show.
Have a look at the new poster and for those of you who haven’t seen the latest trailer (thanks to First Showing ) here it is for your viewing pleasure. I’m sure you will be an enamored as I am .
